If you previously played our games on your computer, and you've upgraded to Windows Vista, retrieving your games is easy.
I used the "Upgrade" function within Vista: Your games are available to you exactly as you left them; you don't need to worry about reinstallation.
I installed Windows Vista over my old data (your programs and settings are the Vista default): You'll need to download and reinstall your WildGames.
Click on the "Sign In" link to sign into your WildGames account (be sure to enter the e-mail address you used when you purchased the game).
Once you've signed in, click on "My Account". The unlock codes and download sites for all of your games will be under "View purchase history/licenses". Use the download links to download games onto your computer. If you're having trouble downloading games, first try using our Game Console.
If you're still having trouble downloading your game, check to make sure that any security software (including the Vista firewall) is configured to allow downloading. To view or change Vista's security settings, double-click on the system tray icon to the bottom right that says "Windows Security Alerts." Default settings should allow our games to download, so please be careful when making any changes (and don't put your computer at risk).
I bought my games on CD in a store:
Many of our games have been in stores since long before Vista was launched. All of our downloadable games are Vista-compatible, but the boxed games we release in stores are not. If the back of the box does not list Vista as an acceptable operating system, you will not be able to play that game. We're sorry, but we cannot upgrade your boxed game to be Vista-compatible. You may try to return the game through the store if it's a recent purchase.
For more information about downloading and installing games normally, please review this page:WildGames Walk-Thru
To install, find the file you downloaded and double-click it to start the installation process. Windows will issue a prompt to let you know that a program is being installed, and the system needs your permission to proceed. You will need to press "continue"at this stage. Installation will begin normally. Please be aware that changing the default location for the installation of your game may lead to problems later, like trouble saving your game data.
You must be an administrator on your computer in order to successfully install a game. To determine your authority level, please click the start icon, then click the picture at the top of the menu (associated with you). Anything less than "administrator" may not allow you to install programs.

Unlock codes are provided to you at the final page of the checkout screen, and are also e-mailed to you for future use. You can look up lost unlock codes by logging into the site. If your unlock code returns the message "invalid code" you will need to contact Customer Support directly in order to have the code reset. This is a normal part of the reinstallation process.
If you choose to play a game with WildCoins, you don’t need to unlock anything.
Once you have your unlock code handy, start the game and wait until you see the title page for the game come up. The unlock link is in the bottom right corner of the page. Click on it, then carefully type your unlock code into the box.
You must be connected to the internet before you click Unlock Game. Once the game has successfully been unlocked, you can play offline or online.
Once the code has been entered, you won’t have to enter it again unless you reinstall the game or upgrade parts on your computer. You can start playing immediately, and you have unlimited access to the game.

All of our games have been tested to ensure compatibility with Windows Vista. If you experience problems playing your game, there are a few things you can do that may fix the problem:
- Check to make sure your video and sound card drivers are up to date and compatible with Vista.
- Completely uninstall, then reinstall the game. Use our Game Console to make this process easier.
- If you need to contact Customer Support for assistance, please provide as much detail as you can about what happened immediately before, during, and after you received an error.
